On 2 January 2024, the NT Land Legislation Amendment Act 2023 changed how transactions are done at the Land Titles Office (LTO).
The NT Territory Home Owners Discount is due to end on 30 June 2021. This discount offers up to $18,601 toward your stamp duty payable on an eligible home purhase. In order to ensure you don’t miss out on your stamp duty assistance, you will need to enter into a Contract to Purchase by 30 June 2021. All applications are subject to eligibility requirements. The NT Government have confirmed the renovation grant of $10,000 for first Home buyers of established homes is due to end at 5.00pm on the 30th of November 2020. The good news is that the Territory Home Owners Discount will continue, at least until July 2021. Please contact us for further information.
